Overview of Kojindani Historic Park

Around the archeological site and museums there is a vast and green park of 27.5ha. Seasonal flowers such as ancient lotus and camellia bloom there, and it is full of barbecue and hiking people from spring to autumn.
In ancient agricultural land, we experience rice planting and rice harvesting by hand.

There is a training room that also serves as a break room, which can be used for various hands-on learning and cultural activities.

Barbecue site

Ancient reconstructed house

The pit-type dwellings, which have restored the lives of ancient people, has become a symbol of a historic park.

Every spring, colorful camellia blooms.

Ancient agricultural land

They grow black rice and red rice, and you can experience rice planting and rice harvesting.
In winter, we also experience rice cake making with rice harvested here.
